Hi! I’m Dr. Ashley.

I use psychology and applied neuroscience to:

EDUCATE

INSPIRE

TRANSFORM

Officially, I’m an award-winning psychologist, speaker, and author.

What I really am, though, is an anxiety expert and a self-proclaimed happiness quester on a mission to help people live better lives.

For nearly 20 years, I have specialized in the treatment of anxiety disorders and OCD. I have had the incredible privilege of helping countless people break free from anxiety and transform their life experiences.

I also practice what I preach.

I have a rare vision impairment that makes me legally - and increasingly - blind. I know what it’s like to feel anxious and stuck…and what it takes to overcome adversity to truly thrive.

The combination of my professional expertise and personal experiences put me in a unique position to educate and inspire. My ultimate goal is to change the way people think so they can live bold, happy lives.

Anxiety. Worry. Fear. Insecurity. Overwhelm. Doubt. Discomfort.

It has many names and comes in many forms…and it holds you back. It keeps you from being the confident, content person you were meant to be. It zaps the joy from life. It keeps you playing small, stuck inside your comfort zone, leading a life that isn’t quite what you want it to be.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

I’m here to help through…

SPEAKING

I am a dynamic speaker dedicated to providing an incredible experience for event planners and audiences alike. Both in person and virtual speaking events and workshops are designed to create big shifts by deepening attendees’ knowledge and guiding them to actionable insights, all while weaving in enough digestible science and compelling stories to keep them interested and entertained.

WRITING

While I've published research and scholarly writings, my heart is in creating content that is relatable and actionable. I believe it’s important to understand how your mind works and how to live a good life. I just released a new book, The Way I See It: A Psychologist’s Guide to a Happier Life, and I publish a monthly newsletter as well as other articles.

Subscribe to The Way I See It monthly newsletter with real talk and science-backed tips for living a bold, happy life.

I co-founded Peak Mind to help transform the current approach to mental health and wellbeing. We partner with forward-thinking organizations to teach their leaders, teams, and employees the fundamental psychological strength skills needed to succeed and thrive both inside and outside of the office.
